We're excited to introduce the Flinders University Vice-Chancellor’s High Achiever Scholarships for undergraduate students – a way for us to support high achieving students looking to study at Flinders University to be fearless and pursue their career goals.
Aim and Benefits
Here's the exciting part: We have ten Vice Chancellor Domestic Academic Excellence Scholarships to award for the semester 2, 2024 intake. Recipients of the scholarships will receive $12,000 per year for up to four years of study.
Requirements
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident of Australia or permanent humanitarian visa holder; and
- Be applying via SATAC to commence an undergraduate course at Flinders University as a Commonwealth Supported Student; and
- Have an eligible course as their first application preference; and
- Have completed year 12 in the year prior to commencing University study;
- Have an ATAR of 99.5 or above (excluding adjustment factors), or equivalent year 12 score.
Interview date, Process and Venue
Selection will be awarded based on academic merit, using the applicant’s university entrance score. Selection of the candidate(s) will be made at the same time as the main round of university admission offers in accordance with procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration Services and based on SATAC application data. If the scholarship quota is not filled in the first main of offers, the University may decide to offer scholarships to students in subsequent rounds. (Note, the main round is usually the first offer round held in the January of the admission year).

How to Apply
- An application for an eligible course will constitute an application for the scholarship.
- Apply for course at Flinders University through the SATAC website and select this course as your first preference in SATAC
- To update or change your current SATAC preferences, watch our ‘how to’ video
- After you have preferenced your Flinders course first, you may be awarded the scholarship if you meet eligibility criteria.
