Generous donations to honour the contribution made by Cheryl Ann Keatley to aged care and incontinence education have enabled the establishment of the Cheryl Ann Keatley Scholarship.
The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage postgraduate training in incontinence nursing by providing financial assistance to students undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Older Adult Care and Wellbeing.
Aim and Benefits
Subject to the availability of funds, there will be one scholarship valued at $1,000 awarded annually.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia; and
- Have applied for admission to, or be enrolled in, the Graduate Certificate in Older Adult Care and Wellbeing.
- Be able to demonstrate financial hardship; and
- Be able to demonstrate active involvement in the delivery of care to the older person.
Interview date, Process and Venue
Selection will be made by a committee, comprising of representatives from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The scholarship will be awarded based on demonstrated financial need and demonstrated active involvement in the delivery of care to the older person.
